Disney Princess Question

Who is Qui Gong in Mulan 2? What is he? What does he do in the movie?

I stumbled across his name when I was reading about Mulan trivia.

My first thought was; Qui Gong? As in Qui Gon Jinn? Is that where George Lucas and his writers got the name from for Star Wars: the prequels?

Qui Gong is actually a kingdom that Mulan and Shang need to take the three princesses to. The emperor has three daughters that are to be wed to three princes in Qui Gong to form an allience. So basically, Qui Gong is actually a place.
