Why do you think the Baker (Anastasia's Beau) was never mentioned again after 'Cinderella 2'?

I guess what they were going for is that the second movie would take place after the third, but the timeline don't really makes sense.

I always figured the events of the second movie came before the third...So it always made me sad that Anastasia's love interest just seemed to disappear.

From that picture I think he and Anastasia were engaged or maybe planned for wedding proporsal.
