My list: 1. Ariel- Ariel's voice really takes the cake to me. I think that ironically, it has the best of both worlds when it comes to range and pleasant-sounding. Beautiful high ethereal angelic as well as powerful, passionate and smoky. I find her voice to be completely captivating and compelling, perfectly fitting for someone who is billed with having "the most beautiful voice". Honestly, only Aurora and Tiana come close to her for me as far as really "above and beyond" euphonious and talented princess singing voices. 2. Aurora- Aurora's voice is incredibly ethereal and very talented. I am usually not a fan of operatic voices as I tend to prefer the more earthy and powerful, lower-ranged voices but I think Aurora's voice is absolutely impressive and dreamy. It made sense why the birds would want to sing with her in the forest. 3. Pocahontas- Pocahontas's voice is very powerful, strong, moving and gorgeous but just doesn't have the dynamic vocal range of Aurora and Ariel.

1. Aurora- her honeylike voice is so rich and layered.
2. Ariel - her voice suits the character perfectly: expressive, sweet and youthful.
3. Pocahontas - I don't know why, but to me this voice is really that of a person who is in tune with nature, so it is ideal for Pocahontas. Plus, it's powerful and strong.

I'm terrible at describing voices and why I like them, but I tried my best.

1. Ariel. Her voice has this reflective, self-deprecating ache to it, that is like listening to one's heart divulging a secret. It's sweet-sounding, and she sings it all with so much yearning and passion. Ariel's belting sounds the sweetest out of all of the DPs to me, because instead of going "screechy," "flat," or "brash," Jodi Benson keeps the notes sounding beautiful and warm. Benson doesn't introduce a lot of vibrato/trills into her notes, but she carries them all effortlessly.

2. Pocahontas. Strong and self-assured, with a nice blend of soaring melancholy, and transience. Judy Kuhn was excellent with her delivery.

3. Aurora Mary Costa is sweet sounding and able to hit especially high octaves without turning screechy or brash. The only problem I have is her constant vibrato with each note of the delivery.

1. Aurora, because her voice is the richest and most textured, and has the most technical skill; not just anybody can sing like that. Mary Costa's voice is art.

2. Pocahontas - well, because the texture is about halfway between Aurora and Ariel. :) It's earthy and straightforward, but still pretty distinctive.

3. Ariel. None of these voices are bad, really, but hers just doesn't measure up. It's much more pop-sounding and ordinary compared to the other two, it doesn't have the same substance.

Ariel - because it looks simple while it amazingly is difficult to attain that range and keep emotions as well. Jodihas both the thrill as well as the whisper, without being too technical about it. It makes me want to sing, and rise up with her. Its the most beautiful voice.

Pocahontas: again, its much more relatable, has such power without being shrill or unnecessarily producing range. She has the range, the softness, the power and the thrill.

Aurora: only because she has the most amazing range but her voice seems more theatrical than girl next door, i cant relate to it. Also, at time, it just aint have emotion but only the skill which makes it sound hollow. Also, i hardly experience different kind of singing with her. It was always that opera kinds only.

1. Aurora - she sounds like an angel come down from heaven. She has always had my favorite DP singing voice, and I honestly don't think that will ever change. Her high notes are so clear and pure, but her vibrato isn't overpowering the way Snow White's is. I could listen to her sing for hours and never get tired of it. I love operatic voices in general, and Mary Costa later went on to become an opera singer. She has so much power but also so much control. It's simply gorgeous.
2. Pocahontas - she has a very rich voice, and I love the tone she achieves. It works very well with her character and also stands out amongst the other princesses since most of them have higher, more breathy singing voices. Her voice also has a lot of raw passion, which I appreciate.
3. Ariel - she actually has one of my least favorite DP singing voices. It sounds nasally to me, especially when she gets up in the higher notes, which bothers me immensely. She also doesn't have as much power as Aurora, Poca, and, to throw in another princess whose voice I love, Elsa, so when the music swells and there is a crescendo, her voice doesn't give me chills the way the other princesses I mentioned do.

1. Pocahontas: If I could have the singing voice of a DP it would be Pocahontas'. It's so powerful and it's got such well executed vibrato.

2. Ariel: Ariel's voice is packed with raw emotion and that makes it impossible for me to not love it.

3. Aurora: Aurora's voice is beautiful and has excellent vibrato but seems a little too stuffy for her character - especially in the first time she sings the phrase "you'll love me at once". I like the French 1981 dubbing by Danielle Licari vastly better.

1. Pocahontas. She has my favorite Disney song, and her voice . . . Oh, my God. Soaring, ringing perfection that can fit any pitch.
2. Ariel. Her song used not to be that great to me. Still dont love it as much as Colors of the Wind or Hunchback's song, but it's pretty amazing.
3. Aurora - a very skilled operatic singer. I love Once Upon a Dream, too, though it's not my favorite. One of the things I like about Aurora is that, like Pocahontas, she looks like a supermodel, a bit less cartoony than other princesses, and when I hear her singing, I like to think of an old-time celebrity.
