How do you create icons?

Photoshop is probably the best place to make icons, but I don't have it so I just use online photo editing sites. The best are ribbet.com, pixlr.com, and lunapic.com

If you don't want to spend lots of money or download fancy software to create icons and other fan art, I would suggest pixlr.com/express. It has lots of cool effects you can work with and is very simple to use. It's what I use all the time :) Good luck and have fun!
