Many people are complaining, but I'm looking foward to it! I really appriciate how she's a POC. I just hope they dont change the movie title to another adjective. Disney can make 100 princesses and I'll be happy :)
I...don't know what to think. I don't mind that they make another princess, but I think we need a break from the princesses, especially after Anna and Elsa. We have 13 princesses, I think that we need a break for a while.

The article said the movie isn't due til 2018. Surely 5 years is enough of a gap
I am not sure jsut the end bit how they written the title(Moana) looked like Pocahontas. I think this doesn't seems as magical as the other yeah mythological creatures, but I mean princesses,fairytale endings literally the disney magic.
Not sure I will see that one, yet I will wait for more on it.
I don't think we should be judging or complaining just yet. This will be in production for years,and we have only seen a few concepts. We should wait to form accurate opinions/expectations.

Yeah. I'm excited to honest, but people online (not here) are all ready saying things like "too much like Pocahontas" and are all ready complaining about a movie that won't be out for 5 years. No one here is doing it, of course.
The movie sounds amazing, too bad it's in 5 years. Although I have a feeling she'll draw comparisons to Pocahontas. And I also think Moana will be ignored in merchandising like Mulan & Pocahontas.
She sounds interesting and it seems that she's going to be like Pocahontas. I don't think we should have any Disney Princesses for a while but the movie won't be released until 2018 so that's fine with me.
I'm not too excited because we don't have that much information. However, it looks like it'll be a nice movie, better than Tangled and Frozen. A nerd princess will be very interesting.
Too bad it is not 2D. I mean, I'm not complaining, but from what I've seen from the concept art it would look great in 2D.
