What I have to do to earn a dedicated medal?

I assume most users get them by participating a lot in a lot of areas on the site-articles, comments, forum, images, etc.
I got mine by doing nothing. I guess I'm active, and that was enough because I haven't written an article yet, and I don't do anything productive on here. I don't deserve it nearly as much as some users do. :\

Make/post polls, questions, links, a popular forum, videos, images, quiz questions, answer questions and get good question on them, and most important of all, ARTICLES!

You need to also get a lot of likes on your stuff.

The more thumbs up you get on your wall posts/comments, or the more favorites you get on the videos, images, articles, links, and polls you get- the bigger the chance you'll get a medal. Also there's a graph-like way Fanpop chooses how you get the medal, or so people say. So I guess data counts, they might record how much your participate everyday, how many props you get...etc to see if you deserve a medal. Only, that's a rumour- but I wouldn't be surprised if it's true.
