Where do you think Tangled takes place

Rapunzel is a German name originally written by brothers Grimm who are German and in her movie wears a German styled dress how ever she has a pet chameleon witch is a tropical pet the most tropical place in Europe ( though argument able) is Italy she also has Italian styled boat and Italy is surrounded by water, seeing that not all the disney princess have pacific places that there story takes place where do you think the movie Tangled takes places?
