What do you think of this crossover pic I made?

I wanted to experiment so I could get better with making crossovers. The story I imagined is basically the same as the start of Prince of Egypt with Moses's mother having to give him away. Here, John is the father and he's so sad that he has to turn away as the mother says goodbye. The reason why her and Moses are black is because this is a very dark moment in his life. He's depressed. His son is going to be gone. Anyways, I think it's pretty good but I wanted to get some opinions from people who are pretty good at making crossovers since I know there's a lot of good crossover makers here. Anyways, what do you think?

ps, not sure how the bright color plays a factor, I suppose just to contrast the darkness.
