Wizard of Oz similiarities to Snow White

I've watched The Wizard of Oz since I was little and the only similarity I see is that both Snow White and Dorothy were chased after by witches that wanted them killed. Also, both movies involve short people at one point. Other that I don't know how else they are similar.

I have seen Wizard of Oz and I do not see the similarities at all nor have I heard this comparison before. Where did you hear this? I am curious of what they found similar.
