I'd like to see Disney make a slightly larger Disney Princess.A Princess with a little meat on her bones. All the Disney Princesses so far have had the same perfect tiny little figure. Not all Princesses are the same size & shape! Anyone agree?
Oh definitely, I also agree with TigerRanma...I think it's important to show kids how we all have different body types (and for the most part, our waists are not smaller than our heads--something that kind of irked me in the animation of some of the characters *cough cough Ariel*). Though I wouldn't advocate showing a medically overweight character, I think it would be good to just show a girl with a fuller figure (like Tiger Ranma said, along the lines of Esmeralda). A lot of little girls (and some boys) look up to these characters as role models, so we should reflect healthy values, in personality and appearance.
I just want a princess with Pocahontas's or Esmeralda's figure.

I agree on that.Pocahontas you can say is the only princess who has a fuller figure. She not as skinny as most of them are.Of course she also older and more mature, she not teenager like most of them are.She more adult then the rest of the princesses.
meat is muscle... NOT FAT. we already have princesses with muscle on their bones: all of them. Pocahontas especially since she's so athletic. if you mean overweight, please say so. I'm so tired of people trying to sugarcoat it.
well i agree i mean Pocahontas is the closest we have gotten to a more "womanly" figure.
For some people when they see the DP "model" appearance makes the ones who don't have one want to lose weight or a surgery for assistance.
However on the flip side if we had more meatier DPs then there are other groups who don't have that figure try and get the figure by implants or excessive eating.
So really no matter what the princess looks like it is never going to be ideal, so sometimes I just watch their movies with less regard for their body type/ figure in mind. They aren't role models they are cartoon characters
