As Sinbad reasons with Princess Jasmine's father about fixing his ship, Jasmine has locked herself in her bedroom. Bored and with nothing to do as her new friend begged for help from the king. Jasmine shrugs. "Why can't I just...retire from being a princess and leave this place?" She asks her orange and black pet tiger, Raja. Raja just purrs at her sad princess. "Oh you're right Raja. Almost every girl in the world is wishing to become a princess and I'm here taking it for granted!" The unhappy princess throws her face in her satin, blue pillow. "I'm a horrible princess..." She says with her words muffled from the comfortable headrest. KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK! "Hm." Jasmine and Raja's heads immediately fly up at the sound of the knocks. "C-c-come in!" The princess calls. The timbered door opens and reveals a young man with brown hair, beard and red pirate's wear. "Sinbad." Jasmine says. "Good evening, princess." Sinbad bows to her. "Please Sinbad, there's no need to bow to me." He gives her a devious smirk. "Why? Aren't you afraid that I found out?" The jet black haired princess widens her eyes. "Alright. So you found out. Why does that matter?" Seeing the mood that Jasmine is in, Sinbad sits next to her on her royal blue bed.
"It matters because I'm not going to tell anyone." Jasmine looks up to him. "You're not? Why not?" "I'd be in big trouble. Meeting the princess. Communicating with the princess. Becoming friends with the princess. You get what I mean." Princess Jasmine chuckles. "Yes. I do." she says. Sinbad smiles at her. "I'm always traveling everywhere. If there's a country, you name it. I've been there." he brags to her. "You're very lucky, sailor." Sinbad quickly stares at Jasmine. She just giggles. "I've lived part of my life in this very palace. All I ask for is a break." Jasmine explains. "Like, a break from being stuck in here?" Sinbad questions her. "No. I mean a break from being a princess. All I do is smile, wave, and pose for art. I'm sick of it!" Princess Jasmine stands up from the bed and crosses her arms. "If you really want a break, meet me in the village. You'll know who I am when you recognize me." Jasmine smiles. "Thank you."
