Debate Question

English Court Transcripts?

I recently started studying Law. Now there was a question on here about a court case and I kind of wanted to read the court transcript of that case to learn more about it. But I do not really know where I can find these.

Can anyone help me with that? Dutch and English law is very different, so I think it would be interesting for me to read an English court transcript.

Thanks!

How awesome you're studying Law! I might want to do that next year, after I graduate. At which uni are you studying?

Btw I believe Utrecht's court is very open about its court cases. I think you can get (Dutch of course) transcripts from them too!

Also my pws(profielwerkstuk) is about the psyche of serial killers, so I might be looking for one about a court case of a serial killer(though I don't think I'll have much luck finding it...). But if I find it I'll ask if I can e-mail it to you too if you'd like :)

I'm studying at Utrecht University :). I know how to get transcripts from dutch courtcases (they are public) but I do not know where to find British or American ones (but I assume these are also public, just do not know where to find them :(

hey sorry for the late reply. I don't know whether British court transcripts would be public or not but you could always ask.

This is a link to the nearest law university in my area, the only one i know of. You could contact them and ask, and even if they don't they could point you in the right direction of where you could get some.
Good luck with your career :)
