They make zero sense in a romantic way IMO. I find just the idea of them acting like a couple beyond weird. However, I do like them as a friends. And I don't consider it competition.

I just think in the long run they aren't competition. I'll be honest, I'm really annoyed with the writing for Dan this season. I don't have a problem with the Dair friendship, but it's gotten to the point that he follows Blair around like a dog hoping for a treat IMO. He belongs with Serena, I just wish he'd realize that.
