next year they will say it's financial and will let go MGG or Shemar Moore. ok - JJ isn't the profiler but she kind a is the heart of the team.

JJ's my favorite! And 2nd comes Emily so if those two leave. I leave with them!

i prefer emily, but if they cut jj then hotch will have to start crying again and so will i!!! (sob,sob)

I wouldn't stop watching it but I'd be thoroughly disappointed, they can't just cut a character.

I don't like that they just dump aj she's good. I like the show a lot but they are messin' with my fave paget so I am GONE.

I love the show and the rest of the cast still but for me it would leave me with too much bitterness and sadness to continue watching. I would be reminded of it every episode I watch.

I wouldn't stop watching it, but I'm very disappointed to hear that AJ is being cut and Paget's screen time is being reduced. I mean both these actors are very good and they help make the show! I will probably continue watching to see how the dynamic changes & whatnot.

I love them both and the show wont be the same i am so torn and sad that they would think of doing this to the fans! They did the same thing with CSI and it just wasnt the same when 3 of the main characters left! I just dont know!!Its not right to do this!!

No...sorry that I'm not as angry about it as the rest of you. I like the CM girls and everything but I can't help but feel like I dodged a huge bullet...at least they didn't try to cut Hotch!

You can call me selfish, but it is just my opinion:

Elle is gone. Gideon is gone. Todd is gone. But the show didn't become worse than before. The show became different, but not better or worse. If they fire AJ, it is going to be different, but it can still be good. Will we miss her? Of course! I'm not a big fan of JJ, but I wouldn't like her to leave. However, this is not my decision, it's CBS's decision. And, if they put another female character... Will we reject her, or we will accept and maybe love her, like David and Emily herself?
Another point: what if Emily gets her screen-time reduced? Well, Garcia has always had her screen time reduced and no one complains. JJ has always had her screen time reduced and no one complains, we just get happy when they have more screen time. The 5 Season was so full of JJ, Emily and Garcia, but we saw no Reid, no David. The girl's fans yelled of happiness, I suppose. And now they're yelling of anger.

Hey, @Agnes_Howlett we all have our opinions and it's great but mandy left the show abruptly on his terms, why elle left i do not know, todd was just a maternity-leave replacement for aj. i like jj and most of the other characters but emily is my fave - paget is my fave. what happened to them was out of greed, greed for the network cutting costs. and i don't know how you can say s5 had no reid and no david...in any case reid had a busted up knee that may have affected his screentime a little and he directed an epi which ususally affects screentime as well. cutting emily's number of epis is a monetary thing and is in her new contract - when others have screentime reduced diring a season it could be mutual, the actor may need time off for personal reasons...but this paget thing is contractual and a slap in the face to her - i don't know why they couldn't have just reduced all the actors' epis by like one instead of canning one and reducing another....this decision has affeced me and i will not watch any new epis cuz it has left a bad taste in my mouth so it is ruined for me plus one of the ways to show the network dissatisfaction is to boycott shows or the network in general - that affects their bottomline...i also made comments on a lot of blogs cbs sees and signed a petition...

@LTboy - just letting you know that I looked it up and Lola Glaudini (Elle) left the show voluntarily. So AJ is the first member of the CM team to be fired.

Criminal Minds is just too awesome for me to stop watching now.

but is really sad,because i will miss them so much.

I am very upset about the aj/paget thing, for a highly-rated show to cut people is confusing and upsetting. i may watch cuz paget is my fave but it will hurt when aj leaves. when paget leaves i will too, even though i like a lot of the other characters. If reid or garcia were cut they would lose a lot of fans, didn't they know emily and jj had a lot of fans, too? (duh.) I know changes happen but this is a change i cannot stand, so i will stop watching when my fave is gone, in fact i won't watch an epi if she is not in it. I wonder if they cut costs in other non-personnel ways...

Totally agree with AaronHaley4ever! As long as Hotch is there, I'll watch the show.

if they took Morgan or Reid away, i'd maybe stop. it wouldn't be so fun without Garcia neither..
