Former Dharma and Greg actor Mitchell Ryan, who played Greg's father Edward Montgomery, would've been a guest star at the beginning of the episode "The Return". He would've played Wayne Gulino, the unsub. Instead, Mark Sivertsen takes Mitchell Ryan's place. He's in the co-starring role instead of the guest starring.
