I didn't cry about the movie, because Victor wants to be with Victoria after he rejects Emily.

I think Emily would be sad ifs Victor leaves her. So, Victor has to marry Emily in a good marriage. Emily wants him to stay, right?

Sorry, I had to add a third choice, because I thought both Emily and Victoria did deserve Victor . . . just for different reasons. Emily had been cruelly deceived and murdered in her quest for love, so she definitely deserved her wish come true after something like that. Yet, Victoria had been presumably suffering to one extent or another her entire life, so she deserved the better life she could enjoy with Victor as well. If Emily had not changed her mind at the last minute, both Victor and likely Victoria would have joined Emily in death, and Victoria would have experienced the hell of seeing the love of her life married to another woman in the world of the dead . . . possibly forever. This was one tough love triangle, which probably worked out in the film the best way it could have.

I don't know, but I don't like Victor much. I mean, he falls in love with Victoria right after he proposed to Emily...

Well Victoria was first, and Victor was clearly head of over heals for her... But I really felt sorry for Emily, yet, I think she's better of without a husband, than with one who's in love with another woman.

Even though I think that, in the end, Victor and Victoria should be together (better chemistry), I think Emily actually deserved Victor more. I mean, she was willing to give up her chance at happiness with him so he and Victoria could be together.

He was willing to give his life for her, and she was willing to give up her chance with him for him to be happy. To be honest, the chemistry between them was better. Victor knew Victoria for like a few minutes, and 'falls in love'. What does she have that Emily doesn't? Emily is sweet, kind, talented... if I were Victor I would've been madly in love with Emily! :)

I do feel bad for Emily though.

I think victor loved Victoria more then Emily, and Emily gave him up because she realized that she was taking him away from Victoria and she was ready to move on. That's pretty much the story, so if Emily married Victor the entire movie would be changed. And I definitely prefer VxV, not that I don't like Emily, because I like her a lot, but victor and Victoria are really cute together :)

Emily and victor are so much better together, she loved him the first time she saw him. she is such a loss soul, a deserves to find love. Mind you the ending in the movie was sad, with not ending the way i wanted. I am happy it ended that way because it makes the Audience love Emily more and how she gave up the man she loved so he could be happy and free.

I liked him with Emily much better! I love this forbidden love thing... It's so romantic, touching and yet... sad. Also Emily has a way better personality! Maybe it's because I got to know her better than Victoria because she had more screen time... But as much as I got to know Victoria she isn't as much as Emily! But she's a nice woman too of course... So yeah. I wanted Victor to be with Emily. Although I kinda knew that it couldn't work out for them... but I had my hopes. :)

Well, I think they both deserved Victor for their own reasons. Victoria had been pushed down by her parents her entire life and longs to be understood. When she meets Victor, she meets someone she can relate to that understands the feeling and she bravely tried to save him while he was away. I liked Victor and Emily as a pairing too because at first, he seemed afraid of her but he ended up liking her once he really got to know her. It could have really worked either way but I think what happened in the end was the best. Victoria would have probably have to spend the rest of her life trying to hide from that bastard, Lord Barkis or she would have probably been killed trying to fight him off. He loved both of them and vice versa but Emily realized the circumstances that things would have went horribly wrong if Victor had drunk the poison and died for her.
