The FBI ran around the house to see Erin lying on the ground. They expected her to be death, but then she sat upright.
“You have got to be kidding me” an officer mumbled. Erin shook her head and looked around bewildered. How could she be alive? She scribbled up. She didn’t have a scratch.
The police got to her, but didn’t give her a chance to recover from the shock. They cuffed her hands and brought her to a police van that drove them to the police station.
Ten minutes later Erin and Ruby were sitting in separate hearing rooms. Ruby faked a few tears and started talking. “I’ve been friends with Meg since I was little. It broke my heart when I heard she’d killed herself”
Erin looked desperate at the inspector. “The first thing I remember is waking up in a hospital. There was a man. He said his name’s Evan and that we were supposed to get married”
“But then I heard she was still alive and I had to see her” Ruby continued.
“Evan brought me to Michigan to meet my parents, but I didn’t recognize them” Erin said.
“She totally freaked out and slaughtered them. That’s when I arrived at her house” Ruby said.
“There was a woman. She said she was my friend, but I’ve never seen her before. She made me see things. People that she claimed I killed. And when I came downstairs I found my parents. She said I killed them, but I don’t remember that” Erin said.
“I tried to convince her to turn herself in”
“I panicked and she told me to run. In the evening we stopped at a takeaway shop and she told me to stay put. A girl came to me and asked for help. She had car trouble”
“Meg killed the girl. She had recognized her. Meg couldn’t take any chances”
“She took me to the girl’s house and killed her mother. Then she left me alone in the living room and I couldn’t move. Next thing I know I’m holding a gun against her head” Erin finished.
“Meg locked me up in a room, but she didn’t know I had my phone with me. So I called the police” Ruby finished.
Erin’s investigator leaned towards Erin. “How did you survive that fall?” he wanted to know.
Erin shook her head. “I don’t know. I really don’t know”

“It was me” Meg said. Sam had freed her from her prison and now she was going to free Cas of his. She had to promise Sam she wouldn’t try to get out until they were far gone. Because as soon as soon as Cas was out they were going to hit the road an drive as far away as possible.
“I killed Jack and I killed Paul Morgan. Cas has nothing to do with it. I was trying to protect him. Jack was asking too many questions and Paul knew too much already. There were people trying to hurt Cas and I tried to give him a low profile. But it didn’t really work out. I don’t want a lawyer. I don’t want a trial. Just give me the maximum penalty and I’ll accept it”
Isabel stared at her, a little puzzled, but also thrilled. She got Jack and Paul’s killer. Now no one would question her competence as an inspector again. She cuffed Meg’s hand and brought her to a cell.
