You mean if I relate to Merida? Yeah, while I'm not tomboyish nor as adventure seeking as she is and i'm pretty content where I am (and I don't mind romance), i do butt heads constantly with my mom. It's a big reason why I like the movie, tbh. :)

i could almost see my teenage years when i watched this movie. My desire to be so independent, and constant disagreements with my mother, being unable to make others understand my need for adventure and freedom, And a strong opposition to conform to rules.
