If you've read both The Giver by Lois Lowry and Matched by Allie Condie

I was looking into reading Matched, but the summary sounds just like The Giver. I read The Giver before, and I loved it. Is Matched as similar to The Giver as it seems?

Matched is more poetic and quite a sweet story but I was a bit disappointed with the ending, it just left me wondering. The Summaries may sound similar but i think the 2 books r really quite different. 9i think i sorta liked the giver better but i still liked matched)
