Article about Boo in The Coveteur
We've said it before, and we'll say it again—sometimes, it all comes down to a haircut. Think: Anna Wintour's bob, Keri Russell's near-Felicity-ending closely-cropped curls, "The Buffy" (who we have Mara Roszak to credit), "The Rachel" and more. And while Pomeranians are kind of objectively cute, there's one thing that sets apart our subject from the rest of the breed—a shorter, slightly spunkier teddy-bear cut that elevates Boo from your averagely adorable Pom to the "Cutest Dog in the World." Make that universe!
That said, you could similarly chalk the whole Boo-nomenon to Facebook. After one of their employees created a page for their own puppy, things kind of took off from there; thanks in part to a few famous fans (including Khloe Kardashian). Enter a gazillion 'likes', a blog, and a few picture Boo-ks later (see what we did there?) and Boo is practically a household name (given, of course, that you do, in fact, have a working internet connection).
Having followed Boo everywhere from the San Francisco Bridge to the beach, often with his best friend (the more conventionally long-haired Buddy) in tow, there's one thing that's become obvious: the boy knows how to dress. We often find ourselves coveting his signature collection of snug puppy sweaters, mini bow-ties and oversized sunglasses. Seriously, where's that Boo-ming clothing line? And seeing as we're kind of in the business of following the fashionably-minded, who better to be our very first canine Coveteur than Boo? With the help of some of our other friends and favorites — you know, Balenciaga, Celine and Valentino — we rolled out the red carpet for Boo... Louboutin loafers and all. And while we never anticipated that we'd actually be putting a Hermès Collier de Chien on, you know, an actual chien, they say that there's a first time for everything, right?
