Bones Question

ok so although david boreanaz has chinese symbols tattooed on both wrists (i think one on his right two on his left though i may have that the wrong way), is it just me, or do we only ever see booth with the one tattoo on the right wrist?

im just curious if anyone else noticed / knew why!
