I read in TV Guide that in the season finale there may possibly be a career change in store for Brennan and Booth and also the show may take place in a different city next season, are TV shows even allowed to do that?

I guess if TV shows (not mentioning any names, but before you get freaked out I am not talking about Bones with my next phrase) can ax great leads , it's okay for them to relocate great leads and give them career changes, but I think it will hurt the show more than it will help.
