Board Games For Moms To Play

whitneydot posted on Nov 30, 2008 at 08:02PM
I'm looking for a new, fun board game that mothers of toddlers can play together (moms playing game together, kids not playing game). Something without too much strategy and doesn't require high levels of concentration. A fun game for grown-ups that we could play while keeping one eye on our tots. Any suggestions?

Board games are difficult, as most of them have pieces that the tykes will want to grab.

Aside from that concern, though, a great one is Diamant. It doesn't take a lot of concentration and the decision point can be new each turn - no real long-term strategy is necessary.

Another good one is Set, although technically it's a card game, not a board game. This is another one where each turn is different, and arguably one plays better when NOT concentrating. Some would dispute that last point, though.

I should have asked: how many moms would play at once?
