Oh, but then Rangiku would no longer be Hitsugaya's lieutenant. I think he and Rangiku have a very good captain and lieutenant relationship, and they work well together. So I think Hitsugaya fits well in the squad he's in now. ^^

I do like him with Hinamori, but right now I feel like having her as his lieutenant would stress him out. He would be worrying about protecting her and still guilty over what happened when he stabbed her thinking she was Aizen. There's unresolved conflict between them so I don't think they would work as well together. It would be way more tense.
