Big Hero 6 Question

Should I be ashamed for not liking Honey Lemon?

Idk. I loved the bubbly and sweet thing on Anna and Rapunzel but this time it was a bit overdone. And while I agree most of the characters didn't develop I saw Honey Lemon as a Mary Sue. I'm sorry but she was WAY too perfect and unrealistic imo. She could run in high heels without snapping an ankle, she was too nice and she knows a lot of languages. I don't know why but that gets on my nerves. If your going to give her that many traits, at least give her flaws! I know it's cliche to say I also didn't like the way she said Hiro. People say "oh that's just her Spanish accent" but the fact she said she had an accent for no word but that one and she pronounced Hiro three different ways, INCLUDING the way everyone else says his name. And I don't care if that's how Japanese people say it. If everyone, especially himself and realities pronounce it "Hero" that's how it should be pronounced!IMO

why would you be ashamed of that? it's just disney. and anyway Honey isn't anywhere near popular enough like the DPs to have such a rabid fanbase who would care.

I also wish she had more development (or at least was shown angry or selfish or something negative a bit at some point) but I'm not sure she can be a real Sue when she isn't the main character. they could only squeeze so much focus onto every character. I mean, nobody calls Fred a Purity Sue for being so nice and lovable and never getting angry at anyone.

also, the Spanish thing is kinda just nitpicky. That's simply how Spanish speakers pronounce their R's, with a roll. her actress did that on purpose. but notice she also says Gogo's name more like "Goho".

Wether or not you like Honey Lemon is your own opinion. If you don't like Honey Lemon that's fine, but I still think she's flawless.
