Do you think Avril is influenced by Green Day?

I don't think so. I mean, yeah, she's a fan of them, but their music doesn't really sound anything alike. And she's covered tons of songs by various artists, not just Green Day.

Am..No. Not really. Covering their songs doesn't actually means that she's influenced by 'em. Yeha, she's great fan of them and she has not only sanged Basket Case...she has sanged 'American Idiot' and Time of your life as well.

Well, she's certainly a fan of them. She sang Basket Case, and I think in a video of her, she was humming along to Good Riddance (Time of Your Life). Maybe she tries to embody their punk values? Lol, I dunno.

Ya, she is influencd by Greenday cuz' she evn sing from their & defintly, I can say that she is also a fun of them.
