What was your first anime, and how did you find it?

I believe it was Yoroiden Samurai Troopers (or Ronin Warriors in the English-dubbed). It was pretty cool and awesome as well as neat and interesting especially how the heroes and protagonists of the series can summon these mystical, legendary, and powerful samurai armored suits to them

pokemon, like a lot of people

i watched the first movie at my friends house when i was 6 but i didnt really pay attention to it then

then, when i was 9 (2009 wow im young), i started playing the games and researching them. i ordered all of the older games, looked at information about each pokemon's movesets, competetive strategies, and tried to learn everything about how the games where programmed and faults in the programming. while i was looking around on websites for glitches and strategies, i heard about a thing called "the anime" and me, being a english speaking 9 year old was like "what the hell is an anime"

granted i knew the games were originally japanese and i actually started learning the language by that point so i could get information as soon as it came out without worrying about translation errors, but i'd never heard of the word anime. so i looked up what it was, watched a few episodes on line, and decided to by every dvd available.


and that was simultaneously the beginning of my anime watching and the beginning of me getting absolutely obssessed with things that i enjoyed

Spirited Away. My friend lent me the DVD when I was little. I was sad about something (I can't remember what) and when I watched it, it cheered me up.

My first one was Shugo chara. there is this site called "our world" in girlgogames, a girl named Selena recommended me to watch anime and she told me about shugo chara. i started watching with my sister and soon we were addicted to it..... ~♥~

Sailor Moon. I guess my mom liked watching UPN or something idk, but I remember watching it there every morning before school. ahhhh, good times :3

the first anime i saw was inuyasha! i saw it in animax!

Lucky Star, and it was always in the related bar for Vocaloid videos. Eventually, I clicked it and loved it!

My first anime was Soul Eater. My cousin was watching it on the computer, it looked interesting so I sat down and watched it with him. After the first five minutes I fell in love and finished the anime in about three days.

It's SRW OG. I found it when my uncle was playing the Game Version of this anime. And then, I played it, and I liked it, and suddenly watched the episodes at youtube!

Skip Beat! Cuz my friend emailed me the link and said "Watch this." And so an anime fan was born.
