Anime Question

Notice any cliches

I've noticed there are a few types of cliches through a lot of animes. You got the hero thats super strong, yet eats a lot
(Example: Goku from Dragonball)
Then you got the pervert
(Example: Brock from Pokemon)
And then theres the Tomboy who enjoys fighting
(Example: Nami from One Piece)
Ane these are to just name a few cliches. Did anyone else ever notice these cliches :P

Let me see...

Let's start with these.
The cliche where a puppy dies.

The "We have to find shelter from the rain" cliche

The cliche where wet clothes = cold = you have to change.

The cliche when people are walking, running, etc. ,they have a long conversation, and they just happen to get to their destination right when the conversation ends.

The crossdressing cliche.

The cliche where a guy goes into orbit because of an embarrassed girl's punch.

The "late for school with bread in mouth" cliche.

The shounen powerup cliche.

The shoujo transformation cliche.

Now for character cliches.
The 'dere' cliche.

The 'trap' cliche.

The perverted friend cliche.

The cliche where someone has their eyes closed all of the time.

The otaku / hikkimori / NEET cliche. (Picture below)

The silent person cliche.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

Yeah, it's shintaro from Mekakucity Actors. (4th episode came out, and the plot is going somewhere!)

speaking of the 4th episode, id just like to say that i prefer the sudden ending instead of the "guess i failed again" from the song. it has a lot more weight when it just ends like that. i kinda wish he wasnt in the preview at all to keep the mystery up (ahh i hope that was spoiler free enough)

They aren't so much cliches as almost required personas and tropes...it's a Japanese/anime thing, kinda part of what classifies it

Some real type cliches are things that extend past anime-but are still prevalent in it. Like the protagonists being delinquents and then discover they have this hidden power/gain a new power.

What people believe to be cliches (such as glasses characters being smart) are actually just writers filling out expected character types so everyone knows exactly who they are.

How most main characters tend to be either stupid,or naive beyond comprehension,or extremely dense,etc....how said main character's stupidity,naivety,etc....makes people like them for some reason.....also,how said main character had some kind of dark past or secret,or some forbidden power....and lastly, how said main character would display unwarranted selflessness...naruto,for example,is unnaturally kind.

The main character that sits near the window.
The flashbacks during fights.
That girl that you don't want to make angry.
The useless fan service.

Some out of a heck of a lot of clichés.
