which anime got you into anime?

for me it was dragon ball z. i started watching it in fifth grade. i fell in love with dragon ball z and anime as soon as i watched it. i collected pokemon and yu gi oh cards when i was in like kindergarden. but i never watched the tv shows so i guess that doesnt count.

Death Note was what got me interested in watching more. Next month, it will have been a year since I got into anime, myself. :)

Naruto got me hooked on anime. As a kid I would watch other anime like pokemon but naruto got me into anime making me want to watch other shows like one piece, soul eater, bleach, etc... :)

Axis Powers Hetalia. I love it so much that i watched it over and over for about 5 times in a row.

Naruto. But it wasn't my first. :3 I had no idea the others were even anime.

Bleach! My first anime was Pretty Cure!. It was a good series but I watched when I was really young so I had no idea it was even an anime so yeah. :)

The first anime I ever watched was CardCaptors but I really got into anime after I watched Highschool Of TheDead.

M very first anime was either Pokemon or Yugioh but the anime that pulled me into the fandom was Naruto.

Rosario + Vampire or Highschool of the Dead I watched them both around the same time and they got me into anime

Hmm... Well, what got me into Japanese animation and legit anime was also my first, FullMetal Alchemist. However, I'd say what got me into the genre itself was the Legend of Zelda manga. I began reading it when I was 10-ish and I loved the art style. I had pages of my Link, Shadow Link, and Zelda drawings in my notebooks. Then I found the Tsubasa Chronicle series because it was that same right-to-left reading with the pretty drawings (ah, 10 year old me. How naive you were...). Then I found the FMA series, found out it had an animated adaptation, and the rest is history. So, yeah! I have Legend of Zelda and Akira Himekawa to thank for anime! -worship bow-

Actually It was Angle Beats....it was my frist anime but....
i loved it!It had action and it was intresting...i always felt useless in front of some other guys...
But this anime taught me!

Same here, it was Ouran. My friends showed it to 3.5 years ago. I liked so much, I decided to watch more anime. Now Ouran is my second fave anime of all times and so close to my heart :)

i actully refused to watch any anime, untill my sister forced me to watch kaichou wa maid sama. ever since then i've been obsessed.

Fruits Basket got me into anime. Really great for 26 episodes.

Well I believe my first anime was Lodoss War or Sailor Moon. The anime that got me into anime like seriously into it was Inuyasha (its my favorite)!
