Psychic Detective Yakumo is a pretty dark anime and it has a pretty good ending in the fact the main character was able to overcome his past. And I absolutely love this anime. I don't want to say much more and give it away XD I also like Shugo Chara! and Uta no Prince-sama for more upbeat and happier animes. Their endings are great too!
