Anime Question

What is the most awkward anime/OVA you have seen?

I have actually seem a few weird ones... But, the one that made me feel the most uncomfortable was a 2 episoded OVA called Ikoku Irokoi Romantan. I didn't know what it was about intill I finished both episodes.... Two guys, one is married...they hook up and "have a little fun" ... and one turns into a sex slave and is being sold...the other saves him...they "have a little fun" ...and AHHH. >-<

guess it depends on if someone else is in the room. was anyone else in the room when you watched this?

The one that got married didn't really like to get married tho (and so did her "wife"). I found nothing awkward with Ikoku Irokoi Romantan. Most probably because a lot of the yaoi OVA's that I've seen have a pretty rushed character relationship and development.

Well, I did see Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi and Junjou Romantica and I completely loved them! Just this one was just... I don't know how to put it.xD

^Those are series that span over 25 episodes. Ikoku Irokoi Romantan consists of 2 OVA's so it looks weird because it's rushed. Believe me, there are plenty more yaoi OVA's with 2 characters that have fallen deeply in love with each other only after 1 night of sex and random things just popped out of nowhere that disrupts the consistency of the plot.

I know it's an OVA. It's not that they had sex that made it awkward... It's the point that I didn't expect to see so much of the doing. Because, in Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi and Junjou Romantica you didn't see much. But this one showed more and I just stood there like "O-O". xD

So what makes it weird was how graphic it was? It's not really that graphic if you ask me. Sure there are nipple-nibbling and french kissing (which is to be expected from OVA's animated by Prime Time) but I really wouldn't consider it to be graphic unless they show the privates. Anyway, even if they show the entire thing, it isn't really surprising; it is yaoi after all.

But, the thing that made it awkward was also the places they had sex at. Like, the last scene. Or when the guy caught them getting it on in the elevator. Or when people were watching him getting raped. That's what made it awkward.

Rizelmine was kind of awkward too (I accidentally stumbled upon it a while back as well, thanks to youtube...) But I stuck through it because it was pretty lolrandom

I think KissxSis effectively scared me off from trying to watch anime without having a knowledge of what it's about, hahaha... *buried head into a pillow*
