i used to get anime crushes, but now it's more about moe appeal. i mean, how much i find myself "caring" for a character, but not really interested in them romantically. and there's not a single character that's singled out, it's a lot of characters over a lot of series. i can get very emotionally invested with what happens with these characters while watching them, but don't think too much of them throughout the day. i can also care similarly for a few male characters. of the shows i'm watching right now, i'd say i've fallen under the moe charms of:

* Maka, Tsubaki, and Marie from Soul Eater
* Chii from Chobits
* Birdy and Sayaka from Birdy the Mighty
* Shizuku from My Little Monster
* Lime and Cherry (an old crush) from Saber Marionette J
* Rally from Gunsmith Cats
* Lucy, Michelle, Erza, Wendy, and Lisanna from Fairy Tail
* Haruna from High School Debut
* Ayu and Nina from Ultramaniac
* pretty much the entire cast of Strawberry Panic

It may be that I need to find at least one such character in any show in order for me to keep watching it. Maybe this is pretty much normal for an anime watcher in their 30s? Now I could do a whole another post on "former crushes".

My main anime crush and she's been for a long time is Suzumiya Haruhi-chan..which is relatively obvious for me even though I (have and had) others she's my main one.

I have a ton and they have always for the most part stay as my anime crushes.

I do have a few, but Masaomi has always been my favourite!
