Kyoko's death in the main timeline of Puella Magi Madoka Magica. I know there are plenty more touching scenes in Madoka (example: the entirety of episode 10), however even so this is honestly my favorite for a few reasons. Kyoko sacrificed herself to defeat Sayaka's witch, and died with her so Sayaka wouldn't have to be alone anymore. The fact that their character song, link, was used as the ending of this episode also contributed to this, because the lyrics of the song also involve the "not being alone" concept, and it all really comes down to that Sayaka and Kyoko were both very lonely people who started out at odds, but fate ended them up this way...
Episodes nine through twelve were really very sad and would bring tears to any eye. Just the anime itself can make anyone cry themselves a watery grave of feels and tears.
I know many other touching moments from many other anime (I've watched AnoHana and Fruits Basket as well in the way of tearjerkers, which are both choc full of tears and sadness and feels), sad or not, but this one is currently my favorite.

Unfortunately there's no better quality of this scene on YouTube, but here it is. Maes Hughes' funeral from FullMetal Alchemist. I've cried every time I see this.

Hmmm... I wonder if I should post a cute scene or a sad scene like most have been doing? Well, I want to post the beautiful Ga-Rei: Zero scene. I can't find an English subbed version sorry :c

Flashback: "Death Stone, if you let me follow my heart's desires, you know what my true wish will be, don't you? My true wish, my true desire, that is...Karuga. I want to protect her. I want to protect her from any misery. I want to protect her from any misfortune. Those who hurt her, those who put her in danger, those who cause her misfortune, I want to eliminate all of them. I beg you. Protect her. Eliminate her misery. Even if...the cause of that is me!"

The ending scene was sad too, but I think this was sadder. "Yui Disappears" from Angel Beats!

This isn't enough to cry, but you should watch the movie of Haruhi Suzumiya to cry at this scene.
