As of me, my current fave anime now is Detective Conan....
Look! it's mixed, it got action,mystery,adventure,suspense and most of all Romance and comedy, what else would i be finding?

Maid Sama!, known in Japan as Kaichō wa Maid-sama! (会長はメイド様!?, lit. The President is a Maid!), is a shōjo manga series by Hiro Fujiwara. It is currently serialized in Hakusensha's monthly shōjo manga magazine, LaLa.
PLOT
Seika High School, once an all-boys school notorious for its wild students and for generally being a terrifying place for girls, has recently become a co-ed school. With the female population still a minority and living in fear of the over-the-top antics of the males, Misaki Ayuzawa takes it into her own hands to reform the school and allow the girls to feel safe in the rough environment.

Training, studying, and even becoming the first female student council president of the school, Misaki has gained a reputation among the male students body as an uptight, boy-hating dictator and as a shining hope for the teachers and fellow female students. However, despite her tough-as-nails appearance, she secretly works part-time at a maid café in order to support her family. Unfortunately, her hard-earned reputation is threatened when the popular, attractive, and somewhat impassive Takumi Usui takes an interest in her after discovering her in a maid uniform after school.

Hm it's tied between Soul Eater, Death Note, and Fullmetal Alchemist... The pic is of the main Soul Eater cast, by the way.

Its between Blue Exorcist and Naruto Shippuden Couldn't choose between the two. They're both epic shows.

Fairy Tail it's full of magic , comedy and a flying blue cat!

I'll list multiple: K-ON which is a comedy show about four-five (at first 4 then 5) high school females in their school's light music club. It's a simple slice of life with some deep moments and definitely a whole lot of "AWWWE" moments xP.

But you probably alreayd knew about K-ON so I'll list some different ones. The same ones I always post really.

Ga-Rei: Zero. A true masterpiece when it comes to anime. It's a supernatural anime about "Will you kill someone you love, because of love?" Bonds are made and tested and horrible evils wedge themselves between two loved ones. It's good if you like action...and possibly romance if you choose to use MugiVision and put on your Yuri Goggles.

Sasameki Koto is a slice of life anime that's also a comedy and a Yuri romance. I thoroughly enjoyed it because of the variety of different characters and their connections to one another.

Candy Boy slice of life comedy once again and a very short series but it's just so cute and amusing. Especially good for in-between periods when searching for longer animes. I'll tell you about it but you'll probably shy away from this series because of it. It's about 2 sisters realizing how strong their bond for one another really is. Twincest wincest?

YuruYuri is another comedy...HEAVILY a comedy. Obviously it's a Yuri anime but it sooooo funny besides that fact.

Maria-sama ga Miteru. That series will keep you busy for quite some time with an amazing 41 episodes (which is extreme for the average Yuri show) and 6 shorts done in chibi (mostly) style! This series will warm your heart, jerk your tears, and make your sides ache in such a combination you'll want to cry when it ends. It's a Shoujo-ai (technically all of the ones I listed are) and there's not even a kiss except once. This series is REALLY good I'm telling you. Give it a shot.

Hitohira is also good and very slice of life not really leaning to any genre too much except Drama but even the drama isn't too heavy. It's about a girl with a loud voice that is too shy to use it. A small drama club recruits her and her life is changed by the bonds she makes among the few members. She opens up and learns that life is not to be lived fully hiding in the background. It's not a Yuri either in case you don't like Yuri.
