I loved HOTD but the fanservice was way too much for me.

A bit, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I think that it would have been a little boring with out it, given that it was quite a short series. However, that episode where Takashi is trying fend Rei away from him, where all the girls are going crazy and being real slutty, was maybe a little too much.

I believe, based on my own morals and my own way of thinking, that HOTD's fanservice is over the top. However, I do not appreciate fanservice of this nature, so I can't say for myself how appealing it is as it's catered to an audience that I'm obviously not a part of. I don't care for the ecchi genre myself, but someone else might appreciate it.

All in all, I myself do not really like it.

Same here, HOTD was amazing, with a great story line but all the breast and booty scenes almost turned me away from the anime. I think it could have had better without, because many don't like hentai.

^ Yeah, I guess it is pretty over the top. I wish they had just made it a bit more interesting and a little longer. I haven't watched it for ages, either, so my memory of the fan-service is actually pretty blurry... I don't remember it being really bad, but I should probably re-watch and then update my comment on here again.

I don't really care about Fanservice because if its a good anime its good as long as the Fanservice doesn't get in the way im fine with it

^ That actually kind of is what happened in HOTD; it's gotten to the point where it is (arguably of course) in the way of the actual plot.

I'm okay with fanservice but at this extent, I decided not to watch more than a couple of episodes.

Most disgusting anime I have ever seen. The fanservious was ridiculous. But even without the fanservious this series would have sucked. The characters were horrible, nothing but perverts. The plot was the slowest I have ever seen and goes no where.

I never finished it, but I think it was a bit over the top. With the combination of zombie killing and boobs, it seemed to be aimed at 13 year old boys. I don't mind fanservice, but I think it works better in comedy anime.

@pupmkin I think it was exciting without the fanservice. The characters had backstories and what not. Saeko wasn't really a pervert. The plot was killing Zombies and kicking arse. I guess it's all opinion but outside the fanservice I loved it!

zanhar: Well their 'backstories' weren't that creative, pretty tipical. So not impressed with it. The story itself was poorly done, half way threw the series they still hadn't gotten anywhere. The zombie fights weren't even that good, and were shadowed by the panty shots and big boobs. And by the end of the series you don't even know what just happened. I believe Saeko was a pervert, especially if you looked at her outfits. She was the character you got the most slutty fanservious out of. As shown in the picture there..

Definitely. The fanservice was just ridiculous. Overall, I personally didn't like HOTD that much. But I might have actually wanted to finish it if there wasn't ecchi launched into the watchers face at every possible moment.

well, yes, but HSOTD is as much about fan service as it is about zombies. it's what they were going for.

This anime has too much sexual scenes. That is why I don't bother to watch it

nope, it was just fine for me, but I can understand why other ppl think it was abit much, there were scènes that were crazy, but I never really flinched at it
