If they aren't hurt or uncomfortable in the clothes I guess it's not really cruelty, but I do worry that it can lead to people objectifying animals, which could in turn result in some kind of abuse. When humans choose clothes, I think it's important that they are dressing for themselves - not for someone else. So shouldn't animals wear clothes for their own good too? I'd just encourage people to think twice about why they're dressing the animal; is it purely for the person's pleasure, or will it benefit the animal in some way? posted over a year ago.
