i don't like real fur or fake. Real fur is cruel. Animals shouldn't be killed just for their skins. That is a terrible waste and loss to the animal kingdom.

Yeah there is no pride killing an animal just for its fur. I can see about like somewhere cold where you need fur to survive in the cold.

UGH, in the costume room in my father's theater class, there is a scarf made of the stuffed bodies of weasel-type animals. there are glass eyes. the legs, tails, and faces are not removed. basically put me off even fake fur after seeing that.

fake fur isnt as nice as youd think china produces most of the fur and real fur is cheaper than fake and there are no global labeling laws so they could and do skin cats and call it something else also the sometimes put real fur in fake fur to save money and its nearly impossible to tell the difference so you never really know.

Polyester is actually a good source of fake fur. I have a really warm scarf and pair of gloves made of a "fluffy" style of polyester. I don't have many fur-style clothes though, just a few winter accessories.

Helpful tip: don't buy anything that looks and feels like real fur, because there's a chance it could be. The fake fur items I own are so unrealistic there's no danger; they feel like plush toys if anything. Just go with your instinct; if it seems real, better not chance it.

Almost everyone I know is against killing animals for just their fur; it's not only an animal rights activist thing, it's a common sense thing!
