Almost everyone I know in real life is opposed to wearing fur.

Other than that, I do know quite a few people (family, friends, and neighbours) who will not kill house pests, and some people who don't eat meat or wear leather.

Most animal rights supporters I know are not activists (I don't really consider myself an activist either, unless signing petitions counts!) but they just live their lives a certain way and are careful about how they treat other species. I think it's something a lot of people can do without it interfering with their day-to-day activities.
