After I read about Emilie Autumn's pet rats Sir Edward and Basil, and how close she is with them, I thought about how a lot of people with pet snakes would have fed Sir Edward and Basil to the snake. I don't think snakes should be pets. Some are poisonness, they can bite you at anytime, and if your showing off with a pet Boa Constrictor around your neck, your just asking for trouble.
Snakes should be left in the wild. A snake in the wild will find and eat one animal at a time. A person would feed it several rats, rabbits, mice, or in this case, kittens. A woman who rescus animals in my community found a man who she believed was willing to take in and help some kittens. About once a week he'd come get more kittens. She should have confronted him about this sooner, which was her terrible mistake.
One day she finally asked him what he was doing with all of these kittens, and who knows how many she'd allready given him. It wasn't just two or three, probably more like a dozen or more. The man answered, "Well, I have a snake." She never let him take any more kittens, thank God.
My point is, snakes are dangerous, and I understand they need to eat, and I love bunnies, and I even have a pet rabbit. But at least in the wild when a snake catches and eats a rabbit, it's fending for itsself, not being over-fed, and rather than taking a dozen lives of little creatures, they're taking one life.
Thanks for listening to my rant.

Tips or ways to help out Animals in your hometown!
-Help out at an Animal Shelter!
-Gather friends/family and adopt a stray dog OR cat OR even some other animal
-Treat your dog/cat or other animals well. When they do something wrong like steal food from you, say "no" in a low voice INSTEAD of yelling and screaming at them. They cannot understand high pitches
-Tell your friends to treat their animals the RIGHT Way. Like no loud screaming(if u have little siblings, that's okay) or no slapping their butts if they do ONE SMALL THING (Trust me, I know)
-When helping at an Animal Shelter, make sure your mentors know to use a fake arm to test the animal's behavior
-If you see someone abusing their dog or other animals, step up, take the animal away or run straight to other help.
PLEASE! Try these out! They may help! You knows, maybe Animal Abuse will come to a stop. Don't forget to watch Animal Planet to learn MORE about animal behavior
