Kraucik83 picked Snow Cake (as Alex Hughes) 2006:
I just love Snow Cake & Alan's character Alex Hughes. It has something very pure. Alan said once, that this character is the closest to his own personality!
Next to this I love: Sense & Sensibility, Rasputin, Truly Madly Deeply, Closet Land, An awfully Big Adventure, Dogma, Mesmer...

lilith84 picked Blow Dry (as Phil Allen) 2000:
I am madly in love with him in Blow Dry. His accent is amazing in that movie and the movie itself is just totally awesome.

If I could pick more, I would have added Dogma and An Awfully Big Adventure and make it my top 3. But I love him in every movie, even if the movie is a total crap :P

arickmaniac picked Close My Eyes (as Sinclair Bryant) 1991:
Loved him as Sinclair, and also loved him in Quigley Down Under, but that could have something to do with the fact that he says my name in that movie. Only twice. But still, now I know what it'd sound like having him say my name...

I love him anyway, but It's something special when he plays the Sheriff. Yes, he is so nasty and a real as, but he is still hot!!!! Other favourites include Col. Christopher Brandon, Hans Gruber, Judge Turpin, and Rasputin!! But I love all his work!!!!

This one, and Die Hard, and Sweeney Todd, and Quigley Down Under, and Bottle Shock. I loathed him (his character, that is, not Alan!) in Nobel Son. GAARR!
