PJ is an excellent supporting character. You can feel for him as he runs through his own father-y subplot, it feels natural when he adopts the confidant role to Max, and he's good fun when not doing those other things. He's got a nice bouncy energy that compliments Max's performance seamlessly. He's not perfect to my character preferences, but he's perfect for the movie. With Rob Paulsen doing the acting, too, you know he's going to sound great.
