The movie was supposed to be filmed this summer. Apparently the operational cost for FOX was too much and they decided they'll make a mini serieswith 12 episodes: it's called "24 live another day" and it is officially anounced for summer 2014. Apart from Kiefer it'll have as directors Howard Gordon and Robert Cohran, as the original series did.
