Either because of the 100 monkey effect, where once one hundred people understand a new idea then every one else understand it too, and Or because they said in an interview that they write like 100 songs, all with one take, and out of 100 songs there'll be one they like. I think it's a combination of both.
Its based on the 100th monkey effect. Its basically the spread of an idea or belief from one person until everyone in the place is on the same wavelenght. or something like that.
when applied to music its a bunch of different people going to a show or concert and eventually all ending up having fun and enjoying the music

if its NOT that, then it has something to do wtih a typewriter and coming up with a song thats good apart from the others...i think
